Progress Update: Chapter 4

Whew! The heavy lifting for chapter 4 is finally done! Layout and writing are tied down. I’m going to take a moment to re-read and review the comic as a whole before I post chapter 4, but you can expect to see it on the site this weekend.

Chapter 5 will be the last chapter to write. Then it’s on to inking. I didn’t want to start inking this comic until I felt satisfied with the story’s writing as a whole.

On the technical side, Squarespace’s “webhosting” really isn’t webhosting at all and a slight speedbump before inking this whole thing will be me likely learning more than I want to about site building and setting up a basic ftp server.

Progress Update: Chapter 3

I’m happy to say that after months of writing, chapter 3 sketches are complete. I started writing chapter 3 in August 2024, and took any chance I could to work on a panel, plan page composition, think about funny things small little frogs would say… Page 8 of chapter 3 (page 49 of 61 so far) features bits of what a final page could look like. The comic looks like it’s on track for 5 chapters overall. I’ve begun writing for chapter 4.

Social media has never seem worth the effort to me, and I feel even stronger about that now. While I won’t be closing any of my social media accounts, I won’t likely be posting to them any more. This comic will always be available to read for free, and will always be advertisement-free.
